Frequently Asked Questions

Is online purchasing of museum gift shop items available through your website?

No, unfortunately we are not presently set up to provide online sales of our museum gift shop items. Instead, we provide different methods to ship and sell our items to you remotely!

Can I purchase items from your museum gift shop?

Yes! You may purchase items from our museum gift shop.

How do I do this?  Do I have to come to the museum?

No, you do not need to come to our museum, though we would certainly love to have you drop in and see our artifact collections! You may place an order through this form, an email to us at museum@uintah.gov, or a call to us at (435)789-7399. All other contact information can be found on our Contact Us page.

How does the ordering process work?

Once we receive your order, we will pack your order and calculate shipping. Once this is done we will give you a call to let you know your total after shipping and tax and ask for your card information. After that we will send your package through USPS and it should arrive within 7 business days.

What do you do with my card information?

You card information will only be asked for over phone from our museum number at the time of your purchase and you can choose to have a receipt sent via text, email, or sent in the mail with your order. We do not write down or store your credit card information.

Do I have to pay by credit card or can I pay by check?

No, you do not have to pay by credit card. You may pay by check or money order. However, orders paid this way will not be sent until your check or money order has been received by the museum and has cleared your financial institution.

What are the Shipping & Handling Charges?

Our shipping and handling charges vary depending on the item requested and it’s weight. Before charging your payment method, we will factor in the cost of shipping and let you know prior to finalizing the sale. We use the lowest price of shipping available, which typically does not have a tracking number attached.
